View Full Version : Chamber President Carnrike Resigns

The Chenango County Chamber of Commerce announced on Wednesday, April 27th, 2005, that President and Chief Executive Officer, Tammy J. Carnrike is leaving her post.
An announcement was made on April 27th that Ms. Carnrike was resigning at the Chamber Board meeting. Carnrike had been with the Chamber for 19 years, the last 10 as Chamber President and CEO. Her resignation is effective June 18th. Around July 1st, Tammy J. Carnrike will assume her new role as executive vice president of the Detroit Regional Chamber of Commerce in Michigan, the largest chamber of commerce in the country.
Carnrike was the winner of the "Woman of Distinction" award in 2000, nominated by Sen. Thomas W. Libous, R (Binghamton).
The community, executives, corporations, and politicians all had good things to say about Tammy, her accomplishments, and expressed the loss of her leaving the County. The Chenango Chamber is searching for a replacement.
