Rehearsals Continue for “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”
The Oxford Academy Music Department under the musical direction of Michael Moren and stage direction of Jaclyn Viscardi, continue to hold rehearsals for the production of Clark Gesner's, “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”.
The musical is an amalgamation of the Charles Schulz “Peanuts” comic strips that portray a typical "day in the life" of Charlie Brown and all his friends. The musical stars Geoffrey Sheldon as "Charlie Brown", Britany LaMariana as "Lucy", Kisha Estelow as "Sally", Arik Nisbet as "Linus", Wesley Tynan as "Schroeder" and Will MacGuire as "Snoopy". The cast also consists of chorus members Amanda Cole, Brittany Hadlock, Amber Kida, Kelly McCumber, Ashley Nichols and Jessica Petersen.
The show is full of charming skits and songs such as Snoopy’s "Suppertime," Schroeder's "Beethoven Day", Sally's "New Philosophy" and Lucy's "Little Known Facts". It’s sure to be a great show for the entire family.
The show will take place on Saturday, May 13th, at 7:00 PM, and Sunday (Mother’s Day), May 14th, at 2:00 PM, in the Oxford Academy Performing Arts Auditorium.
