Great Day Camp Offered for boys in Oxford
Boname Park Day Camp for Cub Scouts

Boname Park is offering a day camp for boys aged 7 - 11 years. While it is for registered Cub Scouts, any boy age 7-11 can come join the fun by joining scouts.
This year's theme is "Outer Space" and all the activities will tie into the theme. Some of the planned activities include: making birdhouses, rockets, making and flying kites, studying birds, studying plant life, making arts and crafts, learning about personal safety, and studying the stars and planets. In addition, every boy will get the opportunity to do archery and go swimming each day. All activities are designed for each boy's individual age level.
The cost of the camp is $85.00 wihich covers insurance for the camper, a camp t-shirt, and all materials needed for the camping experience. Each scout needs to provide his own swim suit and towel, socks and sneakers, hat and water bottle. A nutritious bag lunch will be provided to each scout through the Federal summer lunch program.
All counselors are trained professionals. They are members of scouting and have had a background check done by our local council. There is a registered nurse on duty at all times, should the need arise.
