Vets Cruise-In & Car Show, 7-29
3rd annual VISIT OUR VETS! Cruise-In and Car Show
OXFORD - Broome-Chenango Canine Help is co-hosting the 3rd annual VISIT OUR VETS! Cruise-In and Car Show on Saturday, July 29th, with the NYS Veterans' Home in Oxford, NY. The show will be held rain or shine, beginning at 11:00 AM. The community is welcome to cruise in, enter cars, see the spectacular cars, visit with the veterans, and have lots of fun!
The Veterans' Home will provide: food (including their famous hotdogs),
50's music, all sorts of raffles and a few other surprises.
Registration for cars begins at 11:00 AM ($5./car)
Opening ceremonies with community participants begins at 1:00 PM.
Judging will finish at 2:30 PM with the awarding of trophies.
Car show victory lap around the grounds at the end of the day.
Therapy dogs will be there to visit with everyone.
Admission to this event is FREE, however, donations of pet treats would be very appreciated by the "Vets Pets".
N. Y. State Veterans Home is a modern health care facility with spectacular views built in 1979 and operated by the NYS Dept. of Health for veterans and their dependants.
