Heartfelt Birthday Wish!
Lollys Birthday Wish
The expression, “It is better to give than to receive” was fully realized when Morrigan “Lolly” Begeal made a great big wish on her sixth birthday. Instead of asking for something for herself, she wanted to help the dogs and cats at the Chenango County SPCA (CCSPCA). With the help of her friends, her wish -all 500 pounds- came true!
Lolly, the daughter of Kim and Scott Begeal from Oxford, is a student of Mrs. Fagnanis kindergarten in the Oxford Academy Primary School. Celebrating her 6th birthday this month, Lolly asked anyone coming to her party to donate something for all the dogs and cats at the SPCA. Surprisingly, she collected about 500 pounds of dog and cat food and kitty litter from her party guests, and everyone felt good about it.:D
The Norwich SPCA, located at 6160 County Road 32, receives no Local, State or Federal funding and relies on donations. They are very grateful to Lolly for these gifts.
