Keep busy Saturday in Oxford
Wow, this first Saturday in October,
Oxtober the 6th,
will keep you very busy in Oxford!
Starting at 10 AM:
It's the first day of the
The Chenango Piecemaker's Biennial Quilt Show,
"A Festival of Quilts"
Saturday - Monday, October 6th thru 8th,
10:00 AM - 5:00 PM each day. They're having 300 quilts on display, raffles, a silent auction, food, door prizes, and more!
New location: Oxford Academy High School on South Washington Avenue.

The Oxford Rod & Gun Club's annual
CLAMBAKE, 1:00 to 6:00 PM.
A tradition since 2005, they offer live music; food; fun; & beverages.
(No-one under 21.) Only 150 tickets.

It's Bowman Lake State Park's
"Halloween Boonanza"
There are games and crafts -for campers only- from 1-3
then at 4:30 non-campers are welcome to see their Halloween Costume Parade and Award Ceremony. (And believe me, these people really get into getting spooky!)

For the evening, doors opening at 6:30 PM:
The fun doesn't have to end- come to 6 On The Square for Oxfords very own Nate Gross brings his band, Panhandle (http://www.myspace.com/panhandlemusic), home to perform at 7:30 PM. Their energetic mix of folk, rock, and roots music creates a harmony thats played with a passion that will be catching! Purchase tickets either on-line or at the door, $10. Doors open at 6:30 PM.
