RAMBLING FEVER

Some of the Oxford and Preston Fire Department members caught me on coffee break Friday morning, March 21st, and presented me with 60 year service certificates, one each from Loraine Cortez - Department of State, Senator Tom Libous, State Assemblyman Clifford Crouch and Mike Wurtz, president of the Fireman's Association of the State of New York. All were dated March 15th, 2008.
Just a week before, I was awarded a Sixty Year lapel pin and certicate for sixty years continuous membership in Fort Hill Post 376 American Legion, Oxford.
I feel very fortunate in being able to serve both community organizations, and the comradery of both units.
