Black Bear Winery's Monthly Happenings

The Black Bear Winery's artist this month is John Rodrigues and he is a local oil painter who's subjects are a visual play on words. The title of his show is "The Long and Short of it." This is a show you won't want to miss. His oil paintings are fanciful and the colors are bold and bright. John's work is on display at Black Bear for the month of October and his reception is this Sunday, Oct 12, from 2:00 to 5:00. Refreshments and live music by R.J. Siegers and Don Eckerson, will be available for your enjoyment as you peruse the show and visit with the artist. There is no charge to attend.

The weekend before Halloween, October 25 & 26, we encourage you to come to the Black Bear in costume! The weekend is our 6th anniversary and we're celebrating by rewarding you with a 5% discount on any of your purchases if you dress in costume to visit us!

Halloween night, Friday Oct. 31, Black Bear is hosting a Halloween Costume Ball!
An evening of fun will include live music, hot hors d'oeuvres and drink specials! We'll be mixing up some drink concoctions you've never tasted before. Limited reservations are $18 per person and are by credit card only so make them soon! 607-656-9863.

It's not too late to try our newest wine, Temptation. If last weekends debut is any indication, this fantastic apple wine won't be around long!

And don't forget - live music every Friday night, 6:00 - 9:00, with pork barbecue sandwiches by the Ramblin' Pig. Join us!
Hope to see you soon!
