We all know where EAST Hill is - it is EAST of the City of Norwich. We have hiked up West Hill on several occasions, but never on East Hill. I have gone up there, but not very far. This hill is steep and much of it is covered with honeysuckle bushes. However, it is intriguing because an old abandoned road once went over it. Plus, it may have some archaeological significance.
So, Sunday morning, 17 January 2010, we will venture up for about 4 miles or so. I stress that it is steep. This is not a hike for wimps! Snowshoes are in order, but be prepared to carry them for at least a furlong before we can strap them on. Meet at parking lot behind HoJo at 08:00. 607-336-4628
