AP - The early bird got the record. Matt Gogel teed off with the first group of the tournament at 7 a.m. on Thursday, when the winds were calm, the greens smooth and the heat and humidity merely oppressive instead of stifling. The conditions were ideal to set a new standard at a historic venue a Blue Course-record 63 in the first round of the Booz Allen Classic at Congressional Country Club.
