The FLEET group's next weekly hike on the FLT will be Wednesday February 16th. This one will be another road hike, on Maps M-29 and M-30. We'll hike east to west starting on M-30, at the trailhead on Campbell Brook Rd. in Cherry Ridge Wild Forest. We'll go west on Campbell Brook Rd. to Corbett, then cross the bridge over the east branch of the Delaware River. We'll then follow State Hwy 30 south and west approx. .4 miles to the trailhead. This connects to a new off-road route (2010), that eliminates several miles of road walk on Trout Brook Rd. , through Shinhopple and on River Rd. Approx. hiking distance will be 5.3 FLT miles.
We'll meet at HoJo's in Norwich at 9:00 AM and McDonald's in Sidney at 9:30 AM. Please contact John Elia or Tom Bryden if you plan to attend. Hope you'll join us, the first three hikes have been very enjoyable.
