Library Raffle for Covered Bridge Wall Hanging
OXFORD – The Oxford Memorial Library is holding a raffle for a quilted wall hanging made and donated by Linda Treadway, of Sherburne, NY, on the occasion of the opening of the Theodore Burr Covered Bridge Resource Center.
Perfect for the Library’s fundraiser, the cotton panel wall hanging titled, “Covered Bridge”, features a scenic red wooden covered bridge. Deer in the foreground, and lush greenery and flowers which surround them, makes this appropriate for any bridge, country or nature lover.
Raffle tickets are $2 each or 6 tickets for $10. Proceeds to benefit the Theodore Burr Covered Bridge Resource Center located upstairs in the Oxford Memorial Library. Drawing will take place at the Grand Opening on July 2, 2011. Watch for more details on the Grand Opening as the date gets near!
