Looking for Fireworks?
I understand that more people will be looking for fireworks this year since Guilford isn't having theirs over the Lake.
The Chenango County Fairgrounds in Norwich seems the place to go.
The Norwich Professional Fire Fighters Association - Local 1404, will be sponsoring their 4th of July Fireworks (again) this year. Rain date: July 5th.
Launch Time: Approx: 9:15 PM
Location: The Chenango County Fairgrounds is located at the corner of Route 32 (East River Road), and East Main Street, Norwich, NY. Visit the Chenango County Fair (http://www.chenangocountyfair.homestead.com/) website to see their map.
Fee: A cash donation or non-perishable food donation.
Personal note: They were big, loud, and spectacular last year. We sat up at the front line (as far as they would allow), and had pieces of the fireworks falling on us--a little too close! :o
