Alteren LLC is planning a Resort & Event Center that will be built on the east side of East River Road from Hale Street to just past East Main Street in Norwich, NY. There will be a hotel with meeting space, two restaurants, a spa, an amphitheater, golf course, swimming pools, tennis courts, indoor equestrian center, and more.
Stephen E. Stark, Alteren President, is still in negotiations for the balance of the necessary land and financing. They have closed on 450 of the 2,000 (up from the original plan of 850) acres of land. Environmental studies are also being handled.
