Oxford Rod & Gun Club to Sponsor NRA Firearm Instructor Courses

OXFORD - NRA Shotgun Instructor and NRA Rifle Instructor courses will be held at the Oxford Rod & Gun Club in March.

The NRA Shotgun Instructor course will be Saturday, March 20 and Sunday March 21, 8 AM to 5 PM both days.

The NRA Rifle Instructor Course will be Saturday, March 27 and Sunday March 28, 8 AM to 6 PM both days. Since the first 6 hours of each course is NRA Basic Instructor Training, anyone who is taking both courses should arrive at 2 PM on Saturday, March 27.

The cost is $150 for either the Shotgun or Rifle Instructor course and $275 for both courses. Lunches, refreshments and all materials will be provided. Also, participants need to complete some pre-course assessments, so anyone interested should contact Tom DeBrita, NRA Training Counselor, as soon as possible at (607) 244-1637 or tdebrita@frontier.com for all the details. Registration and payments must be made no later than Friday, March 5.
