Accommodations - Dining - Shopping

What would a week out of the house be without fine dining, plenty of shopping, and a comfortable resting place?  When you visit Chenango County, we want you to find more than just the comforts of home.  We want you to find time to relax, rest and enjoy your stay.  Our business people welcome visitors with their friendly smiles, good conversation, and hospitable services.

Accommodations - Choose your accommodations from traditional hotels and motels, bed and breakfast inns, or a dozen campgrounds located throughout the county.  Hotels and motels range from economy value lodges to elegant country inns with brass beds to a full-service hotel with an indoor pool.  Each is convenient to Route 12 or Route I-88.  The bed and breakfast inns in Chenango County feature historical and country homes that are very nicely appointed with peaceful atmospheres.  Some of the inns are just off the main thorough-fares, especially attractive to those seeking a more restful stay.  Our campgrounds get you up-close and personal with the area's natural beauty.  There are tent and trailer accommodations, as well as cabins that can sleep a few or a whole group.  Each campground has its own set of amenities and recreational areas, including lakes and ponds, hot showers, laundries, play areas and hiking trails.  A full listing of accommodations is available from our tourism office.
