Bowman Lake State Park

Bowman Lake2 miles of trails spread over 660 acres.  Cross country skiing, hiking, horseback riding, snowmobiling, campsites, waterfront area (35 acre, man-made lake, picnic area and pavilion). 

 

Brookfield State Forest
Columbus, NY

130 miles of trails, spread over 13,000 acres.  Cross country skiing, hiking, horseback riding, snowmobiling, drinking water, pavilion, picnic area, handicapped mounting platforms for horseback riding, NYS DEC.  (607) 334-5312

Trails span north and east parts of the county.  Over 200 miles of State Corridor Trail and Secondary Trail.  More information (607) 336-4436.

 

Finger Lakes Trail

East Guilford Falls

Millbrook Recreation Area
New Berlin, NY

Pharsalia Recreational Vehicle Trails
Pharsalia, NY

18.2 miles of marked trails.  Cross country skiing, hiking, horseback riding.  Lean to and picnic areas.  Town Clerk's Office: (607) 647-5739.

 

Pharsalia Wildlife Management Area
Pharsalia, NY

4,356 acres.  Bird watching, cross-country skiing, fishing, hunting, nature trapping..  Access depends on weather conditions.  (607) 647-5772.

New York State Fish Hatchery
County Road 26
South Otselic, NY

Fish hatchery including Rainbow and Brook Trout, Walleye, Muskies.  Open daily from 7:30am to 4:00pm. 

Rogers Environmental Center

Sherburne, NY

2 mile trail with educational stations spread over 571 acres.  Bird watching, cross country skiing, hiking, snowshoes.  Visitor center with educational programs, picnic areas.  (607) 674-4017.

Stoney Pond State Forest

Morrisville, NY (about 30 miles north of Otselic)
